Roots Radicals Salon: Latinx-Woman-Owned salons founded and run by Kim Jones, one of Sabrina's oldest and favorite childhood friends. Not only do they carry NTRL by Sabs, but Sabrina often moonlights at the Brooklyn location to take her salon clients. We love them for many reasons including their commitment to serving curly crowns and their expertise in curly cuts and complex custom color. Jah Mama Sauce: Black-Owned hot sauce brand founded by Sabs' younger brother Roofeeo, as a tribute to his beautiful late Mama, Alba Rose. Crafted from all-natural ingredients, it whisks you away to the Caribbean with its delectable and versatile blend. Sabs swears by it - a true delight for every dish! Shaquanda's Hot Pepper Sauce: Black-Queer Owned brand founded by Andre Springer, one of Sabs' oldest friends. The first ever Drag Queen Hot Sauce brand! Friend of All Glass: A Women-Owned custom stained glass business founded by Flannery Cronin a dear friend of Sabs. They sell beautiful lamps, light fixtures, panels and do custom projects of all kinds. They also offer classes! All their pieces are made from reused glass, bringing joy to many homes and businesses (including ours) around the world. Pact Collective: With sustainability at the center of our ethos at NTRL by Sabs, the Pact Collective is an organization we closely align with. The organization aims to unite the beauty industry to take responsibility for the impacts of packaging. Becoming a member of this community helps to close the loop on the industry's hard-to-recycle packaging through packaging collection programs, education on sustainability, and more. RED: A cause Sabrina has been both a long time advocate and donor for, RED partners with the World's Most Iconic Brands to Fight Global Health Crises, founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver in 2006 to fight AIDS. A division of The ONE Campaign - a global movement campaigning to end extreme poverty and preventable disease by 2030 so that everyone everywhere can lead a life of dignity and opportunity. Human Rights Campaign (HRC): An American LGBTQ advocacy group fighting for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer rights. The largest LGBTQ political lobbying organization within the US. The Human Rights campaign focuses on expanding rights for LGBTQ individuals, most notably advocating for same-sex marriage, anti-discrimination and hate crime legislation, and HIV/AIDS advocacy. Callen Lorde: Callen Lorde is a global leader in LGBTQ healthcare. Since the days of Stonewall, this organization has been transforming lives in LGBTQ communities through excellent comprehensive care, provided free judgement and regardless of ability to pay. In addition, they are continuously pioneering research, advocacy and education to drive positive change around the world, because they believe healthcare is a human right. So do we. AIDS Walk: The AIDS Walk is the largest and most visible HIV/AIDS fundraising event and is held annually every May in NYC at Central Park. The world's first AIDS walk fundraiser was organized by AIDS Project Los Angeles in 1985 with the goal of $100,000. Today the NYC AIDS Walk alone raises $4 million each year on average. New York Cares: The largest volunteer network in NYC offering thousands of volunteer opportunities with non profits and schools in all 5 boroughs. In 1987, New York Cares was started by a group of friends who were frustrated that they weren't able to find any volunteer opportunities, so New York Cares was created as a centralized platform with various opportunities for both organizations to receive help and people to donate their time. Hashtag Happy Period: The first black-led menstrual movement, Happy Period produces programs with love centered on menstrual care. With a commitment to reshaping the discussion surrounding menstruation, they empower the community to advocate for their own body and well-being by learning and understanding their menstrual cycle. Sabrina and founder Chelsea VonChaz connected in 2018 and Sabrina, believing very strongly in destigmatizing menstruation and that menstrual education and awareness should be accessible, has donated to and promoted the organization as much as possible since. BOC WBC: As a 100% Women-Owned brand, NTRL by Sabs makes an active effort to support and uplift women-focused organizations amongst many others. Under the Business Outreach Center Network (BOC), the Women’s Business Center (WBC) is a collection of resources with a focus on Women, aspiring entrepreneurs and current business owners in the greater New York City area. Located in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Staten Island, it promotes accessibility and equality for those creating their own industry space. Girls Inc.: Girls Inc. of New York City empowers girls and gender-expansive youth to be strong, smart, and bold, and to overcome gender, economic, and social barriers via various  transformative programs. Black Lives Matter: Founded in 2013 in response to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin's murderer, Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, Inc. is a global organization in the US, UK, and Canada, whose mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities by the state and vigilantes.
